About Doula Nayo
Being a doula is more than a career for me—it’s a calling. As a mom of two sons, I’ve experienced both the beauty and challenges of bringing life into the world. My first son was born in a hospital with the support of an epidural, while my second came into the world during an incredible home birth. These deeply personal experiences have shaped my approach over the past five years as a birth and postpartum doula, giving me unique insights into the diverse journeys parents face. In addition to being a doula, I’m also a trained chef, which is why my practice places a strong emphasis on nutrition as an essential part of nurturing and healing. My work is rooted in a family-centered approach, honoring each family’s unique dynamics and values while focusing on the pillars of nutrition, education, movement, and empowerment. I’m here to provide compassionate, personalized care that makes you feel prepared, confident, and deeply supported at every step of your journey into parenthood.

My Philosophy
The deepest truth that no one tells new families is this: sustainable life is possible with support in pregnancy all the way through the postpartum period. All too often moms are just told about sleepless nights, sore nipples, fluctuating emotions, and strained relationships. This does not have to be anyone's reality. It is my promise to each of my clients to keep a learner's heart and keep educating myself on all the latest research so that my families can have access to the best evidence-based care and the most up to date information. My goal is to support every family that chooses me as their doula emotionally, spiritually, physically, and with the most up-to-date information during such crucial time in their lives.
